I think it’s times like this I kind of realise how old I am ….

It seems that after 17, yes SEVENTEEN years that Supergrass are splitting up. Yes they may not have been in the limelight for years but they have done some classic genre defining songs and were such an icon of British music in the nineties its a shame to see them go.

While they are apparently going their separate ways and I’m sure it wont be the last we see of their side burns it’s still sad.

Yey for Supergrass in my opinion! I’m not sure if this is co-incidence but its a good song choice, not Pumping on Your Stereo or alright but its a solid choice.

So frustratingly I wrote a nice  big post on the gadget show while I was waiting for my burger to arrive at the pub and the bastard thing went and disappeared on me!

Either way, as promised I said I would start to write some more jazz on this thing and I intend to, finding time and effort to do it is another thing but with renewed focus I would like to think I can .

Since moving out of home I seem to have gained a pretty hectic life. I’m finding I have things to do most evenings (even if it means roping in Mike and Teen to do things they might not want to) and when I’m not doing things I’m more than content to play Battlefield Bad Company 2 and also the surprisingly awesome Runescape .

Getting my shit together and doing things has been a little bit of a shake up to what was my floundering want to “do shit” but I’m enjoying this new found want to “do shit” and will keep hopefully continue to “do shit” until I find reason not to!

Music again is a big thing in my life, I feel like I’m almost constantly listening to music again. Liking a lot of more mellow music but then I’m also liking heavier stuff thanks to the guys at work, to be honest it’s more of a “if music is good, I’ll listen” kind of thing.

While this is a kind of pointless rant it feels more like a kick start to getting some more content on this little page that I spent waaaay to long putting together and actually get some use out of it, I might just be a little bitch and put a forum on here or something for nothing in particular other than my own self gratification!

Maybe I will start doing comics again ? it’s all time tbh, with that and trying to learn the piano I don’t have a great deal of spare time to do anything!

In fact, screw time, if it wasn’t for time restrictions I could do anything I wanted!!!

So originally this whole “blog” thing was actually going quite well, I was posting and updating and yadda yadda yadda then all of a sudden, nothing!

I don’t know what happened but I think its probably about time to get back into the swing of things and actually do something about it and maybe write some things for a change.

I should probably actually do it today but ….. ermm I will do it another day once I have sat down and thought about it rather than when I have just done a bit of a tidy up

It’s been a long time coming but a post is here!

I’ve been extremely lax in posting as of late, lots happening both personal and work releated .. kind of .. I guess.

But I’m trying to sort all that out, feeling a bit of a rush of excitement and inspiration and i’m starting to find my feet in life again and it feels good.

My x-box died, epic fail, so thankfully I have managed to afford to sort myself out with a new one and it arrived this morning with a spangly copy of Mass Effect 2 in tow! I really am looking forward to sinking my teeth into it and i’m pretty glad I dont have to worry about copying it to my HDD due to having a shit disc drive. The curses of a 4 year old console I support.

I’m especially slacking on the Blender side of things, lack of inspiration and TF2 being the main problem, I totted up that I have put around 140 hours into that game in around 2 years, it doesnt sound like a lot but it looks like a lot and certainly feels like time I could have spent better elsewhere. But then if i’m enjoying myself then why not ?

Still loving my iPhone, the versatility of it an pure ease of use make using it a dream, i’m constantly worried about it running out of battery of the battery just falling over but damn im getting some awesome use out of it. I’ve never been on facebook so much!
